Many of us are or have been students. So, it is common knowledge that being a student is often fun, and some time after graduating we begin to feel nostalgic. However, it is also common knowledge that a student's life is not an easy one. When you go to college, you face a number of drastic changes in your everyday life, and it usually takes a lot of mental effort to handle them properly.
Adapting to student life is not impossible but it is hard. And the main reason why it gets stressful for a freshman is that this adaptation period is not taken into account when the curriculum is composed. You get to your college, and you immediately get the academic load thrown in your face. All this stuff to read and write – it is by far not always evident why you even have to do it all.
Approve Our Quality
The truth is that a lot of the assignments that a student is given during his or her studies are mere bureaucratic formalities. They only need to be present so that the faculty can process the necessary paperwork. As for the actual work that a student puts into it, it often never gets addressed again.
Of course, when one is given the assignment to write an essay, for example, one is expected to devote some time and effort to writing it. Supposedly, this will make this student more professional in his or her field in the future. It will surely make you more professional in writing, for one thing. As for your actual field of studies – sadly, not always.
Can a Custom Writing Service Help?
Many careers can benefit from good writing skills, but for most careers, these skills are far from important. When you think about it, it often makes you feel like you are wasting your time and effort on writing all those papers. Your time is limited, and surely you can find a better use for it. For one, you could be actually researching and learning something valuable. Not to mention the non-academic activities, such as a part-time job to afford the rent and/or tuition, socialization to confront stress, etc.
This is why students often consider professional assistance in writing. Though some may see a custom essay writing service as something unethical or unfair, it is often unavoidable for students. Moreover, addressing a professional essay writer for assistance has its own perks:
- Terms. When you address a custom writing paper services, you may be sure that you are dealing with pros. Among other things, this means that your essay shall be written in due time, and you don't need to worry about it. It is much harder to estimate and plan the time when you opt to write the essay yourself.
- Expertise. The writers employed at custom essay writing services often have narrow specialization. This means that your assignment will be given to a person who is a great expert in this particular topic. You can be sure that the quality of the end result will be at the proper level.
- Originality. Writing assignments that are given to students are seldom original. Often, several students are given the same writing assignment. Yet, the students are required to submit original works. When you write your essay yourself, it can be tricky to come up with an entirely original piece of text. Even when you are keen on being original, you are not insured against accidental or unintended plagiarism. It is unfair, but this complication is not impossible to overcome. When a company specializes in custom essay writing, the writers often use a number of tools to ensure that the end result pleases the customer, and the company can earn its money. These tools always include a plagiarism checker. Students are not always able to afford the subscription to plagiarism-checking service, neither do they need it all that often. A writing service, on the other hand, will necessarily check the essay for plagiarism before handing it out to you.
Make your Choice
It is great when students can cope with all the academic tasks themselves. However, life is life, and it is often better (if not necessary) to ask for some professional assistance. In other words, it makes sense to at least give it a thought. A custom writing service can easily be found online. Some of them have better reputation than others; some are pricey, and others are cheap – there is plenty to choose from.

The four genres of essays (description, narration, exposition, and argumentation) are common paper assignments you may encounter in your writing classes. We hope these resources will help.
The essay is a commonly assigned form of writing that every student will encounter while in academia. Therefore, it is wise for the student to become capable and comfortable with this type of writing early on in her training.
Essays can be a rewarding and challenging type of writing and are often assigned either to be done in class, which requires previous planning and practice (and a bit of creativity) on the part of the student, or as homework, which likewise demands a certain amount of preparation. Many poorly crafted essays have been produced on account of a lack of preparation and confidence. However, students can avoid the discomfort often associated with essay writing by understanding some common genres.
Before delving into its various genres, let’s begin with a basic definition of the essay.
What is an essay?
Though the word essay has come to be understood as a type of writing in Modern English, its origins provide us with some useful insights. The word comes into the English language through the French influence on Middle English; tracing it back further, we find that the French form of the word comes from the Latin verb exigere, which means "to examine, test, or (literally) to drive out." Through the excavation of this ancient word, we are able to unearth the essence of the academic essay: to encourage students to test or examine their ideas concerning a particular topic.
Essays are shorter pieces of writing that often require the student to hone a number of skills such as close reading, analysis, comparison and contrast, persuasion, conciseness, clarity, and exposition. As is evidenced by this list of attributes, there is much to be gained by the student who strives to succeed at essay writing.
The purpose of an essay is to encourage students to develop ideas and concepts in their writing with the direction of little more than their own thoughts (it may be helpful to view the essay as the converse of a research paper). Therefore, essays are (by nature) concise and require clarity in purpose and direction. This means that there is no room for the student’s thoughts to wander or stray from his or her purpose; the writing must be deliberate and interesting.
This handout should help students become familiar and comfortable with the process of essay composition through the introduction of some common essay genres.
